Maisie’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Maisie Sabina Samson announce her passing on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019, at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, in her 75th year.
She will be sadly missed by her husband; Clarence, her children; Oliver (Janice), Clancy (Amy), Spencer (Madeline), and Brent (Nadene), her grandchildren; Patricia, Allie, Aaron, Adam, Isaac (Serina), Bryant (Shirley), Wilfred (Francis), Lillian Caines, Valerie (Gordon), Alvin (Juanita), Meta (Gary), Ward (Geneva), Eva (Dave Cochrane), and also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends, her care givers; Samanda and Nikita.
Maisie was predeceased by her mother and father; Minnie and Johnnie, mother and father-in-law; Estelle and Ruben Samson, her brother; Rufus, sister; Rhodena, nephew; Harold, great nephew; Joey Gilly, great niece; Jenna Blanchard, sisters-in-law; Bertha Blanchard, and Mary Jane Kennedy, and her brother-in-law; David Caines.
The family will be receiving family and friends at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Parsons Pond, NL, on Thursday, April 4th, 2019 from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Friday April 5th, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Saturday, April 6th, 2019 at 3:00 pm, with Canon Terry Rose officiating. And then keeping with Maisie wishes cremation will take place, with the Inurnment to follow alter on this summer.
A thank-you to the professional health care workers, whom helped Maisie. To stay in the comfort of her home, this was one of her wishes
The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
