Mahlon M. Kinney
1933-2019
The death of Mahlon Morris Kinney of Upper Kent occurred on Friday,
April 5, 2019 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Perth Andover. Born April
21, 1933 in Beechwood, NB he was the son of the late Edward and
Henrrietta (Gee) Kinney. He was also predeceased by his wife, Betty
Kinney; 2 sisters, Vivian Mason and Pauline Green; infant brother,
Berlin; son in law, Terry Hoyt.
Mahlon is survived by his 6 children, Marlene Hoyt, Leigh Kinney,
Susan Rose (John), Thomasinea Nicholson (Adam), Adam Kinney (Lisa
Tweedie) and Betty-Jo Kinney (Jody York); 11grandchildren, Jason,
Ian, Leeann, Josh, Duston, A.J., Brandon, Heather, Brady, Drew, and
Noah; 14 great grandchildren, Marleigh Sue, Tristen, Lilly, DeMya,
Rayne, Tearyn, Rylie, Chloe, Marissa, Lauren, Alexis, Alexander,
Hunter, Laken and Vincent.
Mahlon was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 5-8
pm. A funeral service will be held from the Beechwood Baptist Church
on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm. The interment will be in the
Wharton Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to the Upper River
Valley Cancer Support Group or the Wharton Cemetery would be
