Obituary of Lydia Allan
Lydia Joanna Maria (Seelen) Allan, age 59, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2019 with family by her side and after visits with her circle of close friends. Predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Bruce Rinn Allan, as well as parents Johannes (Jan) and Johanna (Jo) (Leuris) Seelen; Lydia is survived by her siblings: Irma Seelen, Jose (Ken) Parton, Raymond (Sherry) Seelen, and Margaret (Ron) Golding, as well as nieces and nephews Michael, Kyle, Adriann, Corrie, Jamie, Kelly, RJ, Gary, Nina, and Anna, and their spouses; and 10 grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Lydia will be fondly remembered by family and friends in the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Canada for her lively spirit.
Always outspoken and focused on fun, Lydia lived life large and by her own rules. She always enjoyed a good joke, and catching up with friends at a local pub or any group gatherings. Taken all too soon, Lydia is moving the party to be with her Bruce and the “Big Guy Upstairs”.
Special thanks to the kind and caring staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
