Josephine Mary Dobbin (nee Knox)
August 11, 1944 – April 03, 2019
Formerly of Trepassey, passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Monica (nee Molloy) Knox, husband Clifford Sr., son Terrence, sisters Lorraine Pennell and Mona Dobbin, brother-in-law Ralph Earle. She is survived by her children: Clifford Jr. (Helen), Sherri (Robbie) and Tanya (Craig); nine grandchildren: Melissa (Jason), Terry, Ashley (Kara), Robert (Samantha), Cyrah, Allee, April, Monica and Connor; three sisters: Angela (Ren) Strickland, Blanche (Des) Waddleton and June Earle; brothers-in-law Terry Pennell and John Dobbin; sisters-in-law: Mary Singleton, Theresa Bishop and Marion (Lar) Doody, as well as many nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Trepassey. Visitation on Saturday, April 6 from 12 noon – 7 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at a time to be announced form Holy Redeemer Parish, Trepassey. The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses and doctors at 5NA and 4SB at the Health Sciences Centre for their tireless dedication and unwavering source of support and comfort. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to the Canadian Heart Institute or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
