91, OF East Branch passed away peacefully at the Rexton Lions Nursing
Home on Saturday, April 6, 2019.
Born in
South Branch, she was the daughter of the late Taylor Warren and late
Edith (Girvan) Warren.
Irma was a
mother, homemaker and teacher. Irma was recycling long before
it was the thing to do. Until recently, she was an
active member of St. John’s United Church in West Branch and
a lifetime member of the IODE and the Order of Eastern
Star. She was an avid gardener and
enjoyed reading. She loved hosting
80th Birthday parties for members
of her close knit community.
Irma will be
sadly missed by her eleven children, Jimmy Robertson (Cathy) of
Galloway, Marlene Mazerolle (Ralph) of Rexton, Audrey Fillmore (Allan)
of Mundleville, Judy Robertson (Ralph) of Mundleville, Barry Robertson
(Murio) of Rexton, Brian Robertson (Dianne) of South Branch, Dana
Robertson (Nicole) of Moncton, Ricky Robertson of South Branch, Kevin
Robertson (Joanne) of Mundleville, Keith Robertson of Rexton, Patricia
Robertson (Rickey) of Fredericton; seventeen grandchildren, Ryan
(Beverly), Jason (Hollie), Cory (Gaetane), Alaina, Troy, Natasha,
Darcy (Melissa), Michael, Karlee, Nicholas, Katelyn, Lauren, Amy
(Chris), Luke, Daisy Irma, Holly and Alicia; seventeen great
grandchildren, Kolby, Keirstyn, Kyle, Brier, Wyatt, Dawson, Colby,
Shamus, Conor, Roan, Creighton, Kaleigh, Ryder, Jersey, Bryce, Piper
and Keegan.
She is also
survived by one sister, Betty Harnett (David) of South Branch;
sister-in-law, Alberta Robertson (late Frank) and many nieces and
nephews of whom she was very proud.
Besides her
parents, Irma was predeceased by her husband, John « Herbert »
Robertson (1988); one sister, Jean and two brothers, Emmerson and
Graham.
If it is
your wish, donations in Irma’s memory may be made to the St.
John’s United Church Cemetery Fund, Robren House or charity
of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family. Special thank you to
Irma’s caregivers, Pam Morris, Audrey
Fillmore and Shirley Arsenault which allowed her to stay in her
home. Special thank you to all the
staff at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home for all the wonderful care and
compassion.
Visitation
will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home in
Richibucto on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
A
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 3:00 pm, St.
Andrew’s United Church, 21 Water Street, Rexton, NB,
officiated by the Reverend Claudia Keller.
A
private family interment will be held at St. John’s United
Cemetery in West Branch at a later date.

Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
