Bickerstaff, Dorothy Mary ‘Dot’ (nee Swinwood) passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at Bayhaven Retirement Home, Collingwood, Ontario in her 98th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Murdoch ‘Murdie’. Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her son and daughter Harold and Joanne Bickerstaff, forever cherished by her grandchildren Robert (Kendra) and Christopher Bickerstaff, Richard North, Roberta (Lindsay) Tallon, Brennan (Cheyenne) and Brian (Tammy) North. The memory of her love of life and laughter will live on in her great grandchildren, Zachary and Sydney Bickerstaff, Colin Bickerstaff, Emery and Mila Tallon, Jalyn Nolan, Mackenzie and Logan North and Nation, Victrey, Silas, Jubilee and Hope North. She will be missed by her brother Harold Swinwood. Funeral service will be held at Fawcett Funeral Home, 82 Pine St. Collingwood on Friday April 26, 2019 at 12 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery in Vaughan, Ontario. In lieu of flowers donations to SickKids Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
