Obituary for
David Patrick Langlands
David Patrick Langlands – 61, Debert, passed away after an illness on April 26, 2019 at home. Born in Fredericton, N.B. he was the son of the late John and Milly Langlands.
David served with the Canadian Forces from 1976-1978 and worked as an Air Traffic Controller from 1980-1989. He worked as a personal assistant in the TV and Movie Industry for the last few years. David met his wife, Valerie in 2008 and they subsequently married in 2016. She was the love of his life. He also obtained his B.A. degree from Dalhousie University, majoring in history.
David leaves behind his wife, Valerie (Davies); daughters, Beth Baggs, Winnipeg, Man., McKenzie Langlands (Nic), Nova Scotia; sons, David Miller, Montreal, Que., Dillon Langlands, Cornwall, Ont.; grandchildren, Huckley, Everlyn, Sabastian and Gabriel; sisters, Carolyn, Heather; brothers, Don, Rick, Jim and Doug.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by daughter, Andrea Langlands.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 1 from 2-4pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro.
