Passed peacefully away on Monday, April 1, 2019 in the presence of her loving family. Christine Hancock at the age of 53. Predeceased by her mother Kathleen Horwood, sisters Madonna and Stephanie Horwood (Fred), father-in-law Captain William C. Hancock and mother-in-law Daisy Hancock. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her best friend and devoted husband Captain William B. Hancock; father Eric Horwood; four siblings: Kay McGrath (John), Diane Horwood (Paul), Brendan (Janice) and Susan Dunn (Tony); sisters-in-law: Priscilla McDonald, Louise Sheppard (Harold) and Blenda Allan (Ray); as well as her nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Christine’s family would like to extend a heart felt thank you to her long-time friends Robyn and Alice for all the help and support they provided to both Christine and Bill during the past several months. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Thursday from 12 noon – 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 5th, 2019 from Saint Thomas Anglican Church, 8 Military Road at 10:30 a.m. Flowers graciously accepted or donations can be made to the SPCA in Christine’s and beloved Newfoundland dog Meeka’s names.
