Cheryl Lynn Keddy
1970-2019
Cheryl Lynn Keddy – age 49, of Berwick, passed away
peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2019 in the Valley Regional
Hospital, Kentville. Born in Comox, British Columbia, she was the
daughter of the late Harris and Marion (Greeno) Steadman. Cheryl
attended NSCC – Kingstec Campus, Kentville from 1990-1991, where she
received the Governor General’s Medal. Cheryl had many jobs
over the years ranging from cleaner, cook, nursing home staff to
bartender. She had a love for gardening, sports, crocheting and
knitting. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole (Kyle) Harry,
Roundhill; son, Jesse Keddy (Kayla Bruce), Waterville; grandchildren,
Mazie Keddy, Oaklyn and Jersey Harry; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins
and friends; her feline companions, Boo and Missy. Besides her
parents, she was predeceased by her fiancée, James Woolley
and brother, Ronald. Cremation has taken place. There will be no
visitation or funeral service, by request. Burial will be held at
11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2019 in the Berwick Cemetery. A
reception will follow in the Royal Canadian Legion, Ortona No. 69,
Berwick. Donations in memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion,
Ortona Branch No. 69, Berwick or the Canadian Liver Foundation.
Special thanks to the Valley Regional Hospital, Emergency and ICU
Departments for the exceptional care given to Cheryl. The family would
also like to thank Cheryl’s aunt, Angelene Muir and her many
close friends for their care and support during her recent illness.
