It is with heavy hearts that the family of Brenda Margaret (Connolly) Trainor announces her passing that occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday March 31, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. Born 1944 in Hampstead, NB, she was the daughter of the late Fernand and Velma (Cameron) Aubin and her birth father Bruce Raeburn.
Brenda was a kind soul and would help anyone in need, even if it meant she went without. She loved her family fiercely and will always be remembered for her loving heart, her generosity and her impeccable driving skills.
She will be greatly missed by her children Kirk Connolly Sr. (Nikki), Robbie Keen (Paula) and Kari O’Neill (Troy); siblings Florence Littlefield (Harold), Esther Kingston (Kenny), Gary Raeburn, Jeff Aubin (Shirl), Rhonda Aubin, Judy Aubin, Sheryl Raeburn-Olsson (Greg), Pam Olive (Curtis), Mike Raeburn (Patty) and Carl Raeburn (Barb); grandchildren Rawnie (Jon), Kirk Jr. (Stacey), Jessie (Mark), Nic (Brittany), Taylor (Shane), Landen and Moxley; great-grandchildren Bear and Quinn as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her spouse David Beck; daughter Anita Connolly and siblings Harriet Aubin, Rodney Raeburn and Velma (Fe) Aubin.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road with visitation on Wednesday April 3, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at First Wesleyan Church, 399 Boars Head Road on Thursday April 4, 2019 at 1 p.m. For those who wish, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimer Society or Saint John First Wesleyan.
