Buchanan, Betty Lou of Port Burwell passed away peacefully with family by her side at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in her 81st year. Loving wife of the late Carman Buchanan(1989). Dear mother of Allan(Kelly) of Vienna, Kathy Cripps(John) of Sundridge, Marlene Taylor(Ike) of Vienna and Michael of Port Burwell. Grandmother of Christopher, Carmen, Luke, Lindy, Ike and Nathan. Great-grandmother of Dallas, Austin, Lily, Ike, Nathan, Cody, Logan and Ruby. She will be missed by sisters Joy Morse(Eugene) and Ferne Nevill(Donald), sister-in-law Marjorie Grass and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Doris Sparkman, Dorothy Boyd and Jean Foutre and brothers John, George, Charles and Don Grass. Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario on September 28, 1938, daughter of the late William and Pearl (Bastein) Grass. Betty loved to bake and knit. She worked at the Ontario Police College for many years.
