DELANEY, Elizabeth Mary « Betty » (nee Conlin) – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, April 20th, 2019 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of Joseph Delaney of Simcoe, formerly of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Cherished mother of Patricia « Patti » Wilmott (Rob) of Savannah Georgia, Martin Delaney of Brantford, and Laura Bezzo (Paul) of Simcoe. Loving grandmother and great grandmother of April Kozak (Joe); children Ophelia and Jude, Christina Kozak, Luke Wilmott (Amy), Sasha Wilmott, Joe Delaney, Paul Bezzo Jr. and Bob Bezzo. Betty will be sadly missed by her siblings Joanne Watkins (Allan) of Whitby and John Conlin (late Linda) of Calgary. Lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Barb Conlin of Ottawa and by several nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her parents, John and Marjorie Conlin and by her brother Edward. Betty was an avid dancer and skater and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends are invited to share their memories of Betty with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, April 26th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel following visitation at 11:00 a.m. with LPM Erna Greenfield officiating. Private interment of ashes at a later date. A reception will be held at the Army Navy & Air Force Club, 53 Water St. Simcoe immediately following the service.
