Arthur’s Obituary
Surrounded by his loving family, Arthur Joseph Bennett passed peacefully away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, at the age of 70 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, the love of his life Roslyn of 48 years, his two daughters: Natasha Barker (Dean), Elizabeth-Ann Hull (Kevin); 4 grandchildren: Nathan, Melissa, Ethan and Aaron; his siblings: Edward (Deborah), Garry (Judy), Andrew (Julia), Jocelyn (Darryl); Sister in Law: Gail; Uncles: Gerry (Joyce), Lawrence, Abby (Christina), Donnie, Bobbie (Rhoda); Aunt: Marie; his special family the Seaward Family, Sister Kieran, Mary, Rita, Lorraine, Paul, Bernadette and Louise, also a large circle of nephews, nieces, other relatives, friends and family. Arthur was predeceased by his mother Mary Magdeline Bennett and father Ingram Crocker (Emma), Grandparents Margaret and Israel Bennett; Sibling: Lawrence, Uncles: Ronnie, Billy and Eddie; Aunts: Mildred and Alice. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday, April 28, 2019 and Monday, April 29. 2019 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm. Cremation will take place. The funeral service will be held at The Most Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Cathedral, 15 Mount Bernard Ave, on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 10:00am with Father Edward Terry officiating. interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations can be made to the Parkinson Society of Newfoundland & Labrador.
