Arnold J. Hare
1930-2019
Arnold J. Hare, husband of the late Jacqueline (Henderson) Hare, of Curventon, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, March 31st at the age of 89. Born in Curventon, Arnold was the son of the late Hiram and Iva (Sobey) Hare. Arnold was retired from the Department of Transportation and was a member of the Islandview Senior Citizens’ Club.
Arnold is survived by two daughters: Karen Rumbolt (Kevin) of Minto, NB and Paulette Matthews of Boom Road, NB; one son: Robert “Bobby” (Paula) of Sunny Corner, NB; one sister: Anna Marie Goodfellow (Murray) of South Esk, NB; one brother: Ronnie Hare (Betty) of Thunder Bay, ON; six grandchildren: Stacey, Jeremy, Cameron, Jason, Melisa and Shamus; eight great grandchildren: Austin, Madison, Dennis, Evelyn, Patricia, Nolan, Olivia and Liam as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents: Hiram and Iva (Sobey) Hare and wife: Jacqueline (Henderson) Hare, Arnold is predeceased by four brothers: Wilfred, Vaughn, Delbert and Norman and three sisters: Pearl, Carmel and Mona.
Visitation will be held at Meadows Funeral Home, 150 Northwest Rd., Sunny Corner on Wednesday, April 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Wesley United Church, Trout Brook on Thursday, April 4th at 11 AM with Reverend Geza Szemok officiating. Burial will take place in Wesley United Church Cemetery, at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, in Arnold’s memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation or a memorial of one’s choice.
