Obituary of Sharon Rollins
ROLLINS, Sharon Lou (nee Loucks)
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Lou Rollins after a very difficult battle with Cancer.
Sharon was the cherished daughter of Fern Crews (nee Street) and the late Theodore Loucks. Sharon was predeceased also by her beloved step-father, Willian (Bill) Crews. She was the beloved mother of Jennifer (Jason) Lawson and cherished « Nana Sharon » of Victoria Nicole Rollins and Rebecca and Jacob Lawson.
Sharon is also survived by her very special best friend, Leo Johnson, Godfrey: her beloved sister, Susan (Mirrel) Brooks, Napanee, and Susan’s daughter, Carrol (Steve) Claessen and family (Connor and Riley) Kingston); and Susan’s son Billy (Shawna) McCulloch and family (Cole, Christopher, Katie, and Chelsea) Napanee. She is also survived by her beloved brother, Randy (Basilia) Loucks and their son Cody, Kingston; and her step-sister Susan (Chris) Pelow, Napanee, and family Tyler (Cynthia) Pelow and son Austin, Ottawa; and Jessie Pelow (Thomas) Toronto.
Sharon was predeceased by her beloved sister, Connie Fern Loucks, on December 31, 2018.
Sharon is survived by her cherished furry friend (Peek-a-Boo); and by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours-and so many good friends, including her musical friends who joined her frequently at her home or theirs to ‘jam’ – a social evening of sharing their musical talents with their various instruments and their voices.
Sharon lived many years in Alberta, and perfected her trade as a dry wall taper in the construction field. She was known as a perfectionist in her work and was still working as such up to the time she took ill in September, 2018.
Sharon is resting at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard. She will be so much missed by all who knew her. May she Rest in Peace. Thank you to everyone for your Prayers and for caring. Special thanks to the Venerable Bill Clarke and Parishioners of St. Thomas’ Anglican Church: and James Reid Funeral Home and Funeral Director Dennis Edwards.
