Mary A. Simard- Marie Estelle Kennedy (Sinclair)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mary (Adele) on the
evening of March 25th, 2019. She spent her final days surrounded by love, laughter and
her family who loved her dearly.
Mary was born on February 18th, 1939 in Fort Alexander. She married her husband Louis
Morley Simard on May 28 th, 1956 in Manigotagan. They spent 60 years together, working
hard and creating a family full of love. She spent a lot of her time-sharing stories from her
younger days and making jokes. Her sense of humor was sure to bring laughter to every
room she entered and draw those around her into her warm and kind embrace.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband (2016) and her two sons, Louis and
Hughie; her mother Agnes and father Stanley; and siblings, Rose, Eileen and Melvin.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sisters, Delores and Louise and her
brothers, Leslie, Lambert and Wesley; her sons, Kerry (Elaine), Carl (Sylvia), Bradley
and Jory; her daughters, Lina (Flory), Anna, Karla and Amelia; as well as 75
grandchildren & great-grandchildren who will all miss her greatly.
Mary was one of a kind. She was full of life and strength beyond measure. Her laugh was
contagious and filled the air around you. She leaves behind a trail of beautiful memories
and an imprint on the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her hard-working hands are at
rest now.
A big thank you to Carly Froese; Dr. Joe Bueti, Dr. Clara Bohm and the Care Team at
Central Dialysis-Floor 6 at HSC; the nurses, staff and Doctor Ross at the Golden Door
Geriatric Center for their hard work and dedication. Your efforts do not go unnoticed.

Service will be held on Saturday March 30 th, 2019 at 11am at Eternal Grace Funerals
