Obituary of Lou Cahoon
Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at his home in Owen Sound, on Sunday, March 10th, 2019. Louis “Lou” Joseph Cahoon, of Owen Sound, at the age of 81 years. Dearly loved husband of Anne Cahoon (nee Allan) for 56 years. Loving father of Wayne Cahoon (Rhonda), of Huntsville, David Cahoon, of Owen Sound and Brad Cahoon (Melissa), of Elmira. Proud grandfather of Mike, Melissa, Mya, Camryn, Josh and Sydney. Loving great-grandfather of Jessica, Josh, Olivia, Makayla and Emily. Dear brother of Hilda Swailes (Dave) and will be missed by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Cahoon; his brother Frank and infant sister Doreen.

WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial for Lou Cahoon will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 554 – 15th Street East, Owen Sound, on Friday, March 15th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Irish Block. Vigil prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Michael’s Cemetery as an expression of sympathy.
