Lisa Carolyn Murphy

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Lisa Carolyn Murphy, announces her passing on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on January 9, 1965 in St. Andre, NB, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Ann (Cyr) McCue.
Lisa is survived by her special friend and partner Ronnie Hayes (North Tay); and sisters Lynda Godbout (Grand Falls, NB); Darline Godbout (Grand Falls, NB); Sandra McDonnell (Brampton, ON); and Elaine McCue (Brampton, ON); also survived by several nephews and nieces, Bertin Rioux (France); Ghislain Rioux (Karen); Paulo Rioux; Cathina Cormier (Daniel); Chantal St-Amand; Marco Bourgoin; Vicky Bourgoin (Gilles); Joshua McDonnell; Tiana Chiappetta; Amanda Chiappetta (Alex). Goddaughter Nicole Chiappetta (Leslie) and Godson Dylan McDonnell (Justice) and several great nieces and great nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Lisa was predeceased by her sister Gisele St-Amand (St. Andre, NB); maternal grand-parents Joe and Clautilda Cyr (Grand Falls, NB); paternal grand-parents Frederick and Martha McCue (Morrell Siding, NB).

Lisa spent most of her career at St. John Ambulance, New Brunswick Council where she started work as a teenager fresh out of High School in an entry level position and made her way up to Director of Operations at the age of 50. She truly loved being a part of the office and always cared for her co-workers and clients. The SJA tagline is SAVING LIVES at work, home and play. Lisa took much pride and satisfaction in ensuring this message was spread throughout New Brunswick through instructors, staff and volunteers. She was dedicated and loved the St. John Ambulance Organization.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2 pm with Father Bill Brennan officiating. A reception will follow in the Fireside Room.
