Kenneth « Ken »‘s Obituary
COYLE, Kenneth John “Ken” ~ age 77 of Kingston, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Charles and Dorothy “Dot” (Gallagher) Coyle. Ken was retired from the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation, where he was a regional manager. Ken loved his family dearly, and had a special place in his heart for his grandsons. He was an avid sports fan who loved to watch his grandsons play minor hockey whenever he could. Ken will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Sally (Fall); sons, Christopher (Charlene) Coyle, Calgary, AB; Jeffrey (Mandy) Coyle, South Greenwood; sisters, Frances (Ben) Bannister, Williamswood; Gerry Hayden, Fairview; brother, Charlie (Barb) Coyle, Dartmouth; grandsons, Adam and Owen and step-grandchildren, Brandan, Sarah and Bradley along with many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ken was predeceased by his sister, Maureen Berakos; brother-in-law Norman Berakos and brother-in-law Guy Hayden. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm, Sunday, March 31st in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in the Melvern Square United Baptist Church with Rev. Elizabeth Amirault officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery.
