Obituary of John Murray « Jack » Bowbrick
Beloved father, « Pappy » and brother passed away peacefully at Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 in his 86th year. Jack is survived by his children Brian, Robert and Michelle (Clément); his grandchildren Belinda (Tom), Angèle, Sabrina (Rémi), James, and Danielle (Curtis); and by his great grandchildren Willow, Roselyn and Cohen. He will be fondly remebered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Hazel (née Parker) Bowbrick; and by his sister Beverly Ann Ward.
Jack enjoyed Bowling in his younger years, had a passion for gardening and cooking; and was well known for making the best spaghetti sauce. He loved the outdoors, camping at his trailer in Cherry Valley, and jogging. He enjoyed telling his romantic stories of how he met his wife and future father-in-law, and about his time in the Canadian Military. Never forgetting his roots in the Muskoka’s.
« Everyday above ground is a good day » was his motto.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Gravenhurst, ON. His boyhood home.
