1942-2019
Edward James « Ed » Graham – 76, of
Kentville, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 in the Valley
Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Windsor on September 12, 1942,
he was a son of the late Edward and Florence (White) Graham. Ed worked
in the insurance industry for 45 years and had been employed with Met
Life and later retired from SunLife. He was loyal and dedicated to his
clients and in spite of ill health continued to provide excellent
customer service during the last 20 years of his career. Ed was a
model train enthusiast and a family man who enjoyed spending time with
his boys and grandchildren and was well-known for his cream-puffs. He
was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived
by his wife of 54 years, Faye (Daurie); two sons, Randy (Leanne
Myles), Windsor and Robbie (Jennifer), Coldbrook; grandchildren,
Andrew, Hunter, Brandon, Allison and Victor; sister-in-law, Carol
(Richard) Robinson, Halifax and an aunt, Grace Jackson, Dartmouth.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request.
The funeral service and reception will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday,
April 1, 2019 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Burial will
take place in the Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor. The family wishes to
express their sincere appreciation to Dr. David and Janice Nunn, Dr.
Lori Burgess, Dr. Matthew McClure, Dr. Paul Morgan, Dr. John McCarthy,
Dr. Kenneth Rent, Dr. Howard Wightman and the nurses and staff of
Medical A and B at Valley Regional Hospital for their care, kindness
and compassion. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional
Hospital Foundation. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
