On February 24, 2019, the world lost an amazing, and hardworking man. David Degano, 57, died after a strong battle with cancer at 3:10 A.M. at Surrey Memorial Hospital with his family at his side.
Born in Vancouver, Dave was the third born brother of six siblings. He was a husband, father, brother and a friend. Dave was a proud worker for the City of Burnaby. He demonstrated his strong work ethic and vibrant personality with not only his co-workers but anyone who had the pleasure to interact with him. He will be forever remembered for his quirky humour and loving compassion towards others.
A celebration of life in his honour will take place on Sunday, March 24 at the Firefighters Banquet and Conference Centre (6515 Bonsor Ave, Burnaby) at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Lymphoma Cancer research would be greatly appreciated. To make a donation please visit: bccancerfoundation.com/why-give/research/lymphoma.
You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence for the family.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de David Degano February 24th 2019..
