It is with great sadness that we announce Carol’s passing at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in her 67th year. Loving daughter of Marjorie of Oakville and sister of Susan (Drew) of Toronto, Carol is also survived by her sister-in-law Corrine and nieces Kate and Ana of Burlington. Carol will also be greatly missed by her aunts and uncles and many cousins. Carol was predeceased by both her father Robert (2014) and her brother Paul (2014)
A graduate of the University of Waterloo, Carol worked primarily as a writer/editor. She was a published author of the novel, Occam’s Razor and several children’s books. She was also a ghost writer on the popular children’s animated series « Katie and Orbie ». When not pursuing her passion for writing, Carol was employed by the Ontario Section of the IMSA in the capacity of « Girl Friday ». Ahead of her time in many ways, Carol was blessed with a quick wit and a love of laughter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Rd W, Oakville (one block east of Kerr St) where visitation will take place Friday March 22, 2019 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Service of remembrance will be held in the chapel March 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
As per Carol’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at OTMH.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society www.cancer.ca would be appreciated.

Dear Marjorie and Susan:
With tears in my eyes and a deep catch in my throat, I read your letter regarding Carol’s passing. She was a long time client and friend whom I will miss dearly. She was a joy to work with and I so very much enjoyed the scripts she wrote. My husband, Phil, who also met Carol when he was producing the movie, THE HAUNTING OF LISA, in Toronto, joins me in the deepest of condolences. We hope that the very happy memories you shared with her will sustain you and yours in this time of sorrow.
Sadly,
Stephanie Rogers
