Bonnie-Dawn Yandeau (nee Florence), late of Buena Vista, SK, passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice on March 9, 2019 after a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Gerry. She will be greatly missed by many but especially her son Guy (Teresa) Yandeau; daughter Gidget (Joel) Fortin; grandchildren Malori (Mike), Michael (Courtney), Jenna (Dallas); her beloved great-grandchildren Grayson, Emma, Max, Abbigaile, Turner and Rylan. Her father William and her mother Florence preceded her in death. Bonnie was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB where she later met and married her husband, Gerry Freeman Yandeau on October 6, 1962. Their first child Guy was born in Winnipeg in 1965. Gerry’s time in the Army had taken their young family to Germany where Gidget was born in 1967. A few years later Bonnie and her family returned to Canada living in Ontario. Once Gerry had retired from the Army, they moved to Buena Vista, SK to be closer to their children and families. Bonnie loved her many colourful flowerpots around the yard, she loved reading, socializing with people around the beach, but most of all, she loved her time with family. Though she appeared quiet, she was witty and always knew what was going on. But most of all, she will be remembered for her compassionate heart. No service will be held upon Bonnie’s request. The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Grace Hospice, especially Dr. A. Kilmury and Dr. J. Bains for their guidance and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Bonnie-Dawn Yandeau March 9th 2019..
