Obituary for Belah Clifford Welsh
Welsh, Belah Clifford November 13th, 1950 – March 15th, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of this great man. Belah passed away with his family by his side at Lakeridge Health, Ajax.
Beloved husband to Alva Welsh (nee Bishop) for 43 years. Loving and proud father to Kenneth (Caitlin) and Michael. Proud Grandpa to Graeme and his newborn grandson Jacob, his little munchkin. Predeceased by his parents Belah and Ethel Welsh and in-laws Newton and Annie Bishop. Belah came from a family of 12 siblings. Survived by Maxwell (Jessie), Minnie, George (Ina), Vera (Richard), Ida (Max), Mabel, Phyllis and sisters-in-law Lillian, Chris and Madge. Predeceased by siblings Robert James, Edith, Stephen, Earl and brothers-in-law Charlie Legge and John Cole. One surviving aunt Daisy Peddle. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Elizabeth Bishop and Hazel Worthman and brother-in-law Alfred Bishop. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Chester and Lloyd Bishop. Lovingly remembered by his many wonderful nephews and nieces whom he adored.
Belah will be forever missed by everyone who had a chance to call him friend.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of life will be held at Forestbrook Community Church – 60 Kearney Drive Ajax on Saturday March 23, 2019 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
Should family and friends so desire, donations in his memory can be made to Hearth Place, Charles Best Diabetes Centre or a charity of your choice.
