Alfreda « Freda » G. Cail (nee
Maillet), 68 , of Riverview passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont
University Hospital, on Friday, March 15, 2019.
Born in Irishtown, she
was the daughter of the late Edouard and Marguerite (LeBlanc)
Maillet.
She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in
Riverview.
Freda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and friend
to all who knew her. She enjoyed many road trips with the love of her
life, Peter, and loved nothing more than spending time with her
family. Family meant everything to Freda. She particularly adored
spoiling her two grand-daughters, Marika and Tay, and they loved their
Nannie.
Survived by her husband of 48 years, Peter J. Cail; daughters
Alison Cail Radford (Derek) of Milton, ON and Jane Cail; grandchildren
Marika and Tay Radford, sisters Margot Hebert (Aubrey) of Irishtown,
Lucy MacInnis (Peter) of Riverview, and Monique Girouard (Paul) of
Irishtown; brothers Charles Maillet (Jeanitta) of Irishtown, John
Maillet (Gisele) of Irishtown and Maurice Maillet (Leslie) of
Riverview; as well as nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to brother in law Daryl Cail (Claudette) and
sister in law Sharon Baker (Dave). Sharon and Dave were like a sister
and brother to Freda.
We wish to thank Dr. Pierre Whitlock and his team of the
Oncology Dept and Palliative Care at the Dr. Georges L.
Dumont University Hospital for their compassion and
care.
A Funeral mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary
Church on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11:00am with Fr. Charles Broderick
officiating.
Donations in Freda’s memory can be made to the Dr. G.L.
Dumont Oncology Dept or to the Friends of the Moncton
Hospital.
