Gagne, Murielle Juliette
Peacefully passed away at St. Peters Hospital, on Wednesday March 27, 2019, after a long courageous battle with Congestive Heart Failure, at the age of 84. In her final days, she was surrounded by loving family and cared for by the dedicated staff of St Peters Hospital, Palliative Care unit. Predeceased by her husband Roger and son Gill. Daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste Duguay and the late Elizabeth (nee Baronette )Duguay. Murielle is survived by eight children Lorraine (Dan), Sue (Rob), Ron (Cathy), Joanne (Mel), Denise (Rod), Linda (Neil), Raymond (Diane) and Rachel (Dave). Devoted Grandmother to 21, Great Grandmother of 37 and Great Great Grandmother to 1. Survived by Loving Sisters Yvonne, Jeannine, Rollande (Leo) and sister-in-law to Lucille, Laurette, Rolande, Claudette and Aline. Predeceased by siblings Laurette, Réné , Gerard, Lionel, Laurent, Conrad, Armand, brothers-in-law Russel, Roger, Aimé and sisters-in-law and Yolande. Adored Aunt to 53 Nieces and Nephews. If mom could say one last thing to all her family and friends it would be “If you want to play…..put your loonie in the pot” Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive., Stoney Creek, on Friday April 5 from 7pm – 9pm and Saturday April 6 from 1pm – 3pm with funeral service immediately following. Location to be announced at the service. Family would also like to invite all to join us for mom’s last favorite choice of supper. Location to be announced at the service.
