Winston’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Winston Reginald Biggin on Saturday, February 9th, 2019 at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, in his 78th, year.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Loretta nee Skeard of 55 years, his children; Evelyn (Bruce), Dwane (Carolyn), Dwight (Sherry), and Wallie (Tanya), his grandchildren; Pamela (Nick), Jennifer (Chris), Alicia (Fred), Kaleb (Bailey), Dion (Ashley), Samantha (James), Michael (Victoria), Jake, and Luke, his great grandchildren; Dillan, Kayleigh, Kamryn, Austin, Jaxon, and Samuel, his sisters; Clara, and Nina, sisters-in-law; Katherine, and Elaine, brothers-in-law; Lorne (Lina), and Kevin (Minnie) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends and forever by his side, his faithful companion Sandy.
Winston was predeceased by his parents; Archibald and Evelyn Biggin, grandson; William, his mother-in-law; Evelyn Parsons, brothers-in-law; William, Forsey, Eddie Pieroway, Enos, John, and Wally Skeard, and special aunt Ethel Payne, .
Special thanks to caregivers Joy Payne, and Judy Kelly, staff and Doctors at the Bonne Bay Health Centre- your care of Dad was greatly appreciated. Thank-You.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Holy Cross Anglican Church in Daniel’s Hr, NL, on Monday, February 11th, 2019 from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Tuesday, February 12th, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 13th, 2019, at 2:00 pm, with Canon Terry Rose officiating, and keeping with Winston wishes cremation will take place with an Inurnment to follow in the summer of 2019.
Donations can be made to the Holy Cross Anglican Church in Winston’s memory would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
