Obituary of Winn Seguin (nee Leal)
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on February 13, 2019 at the age of 90 years. Reunited with her beloved husband Patrick (2012). Adored mother of Patti Scully (Dan), Penny Hoppe (Mason), Susan Buchanan (Ian), and Wendy Thompson (Mike). Proud grandma of Robyn Reiff (Peter), Tim Barbetta (Dana), Michael Barbetta, Callie Scalia (Paolo), Amanda Thompson (Cory), Cameron Buchanan (Crio), Megan Gilliland (Andrew), Doug Hoppe (Marisa), Andrew Buchanan (Melissa), and great-grandmother of 7. Deeply missed by her sister Norma Snowdon. Predeceased by her brother Wilfred Leal.
Winn’s four daughters cherish the memory of a mom who supported all their endeavours. We remember the wonderful aromas of Mom’s cooking welcoming us home. She wasn’t just the woman behind the man, but the woman behind her family.
If you so desire, donations made to the Canadian Wild Life Federation would be appreciated by the family as this was a cause that Winn held dear. Cremation has taken place.
