Obituary of Wilmer Beckett
Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at the Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound, on Saturday morning, February 9th, 2019. Wilmer Grant Beckett, of Owen Sound, at the age of 87 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Mabel Beckett (nee Lundy) (2012). Loving father of Carrie Wilson, of Brantford, Dave Beckett (Carol), of Chatsworth and Wendy Beckett, of Owen Sound. Proud grandfather of Katy-Jo, Kelly, Matthew, Mark and great-grandfather of Chloe, Lily and Dexter. Dear brother of Hugh Beckett (Jondre), of Owen Sound and brother-in-law of Eileen Beckett, of Keady. Wilmer will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Grant and Margaret “Maggie” Beckett; his brothers, Kenneth and Donald Beckett; his sisters-in-law, Patricia and Brenda Beckett.

WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for Wilmer Beckett will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 14th, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Nicholas Forrester officiating. Spring interment in Shiloh Cemetery.
