Obituary of William « Bill » Atkinson
Peacefully passed away, surrounded by family at ARCH in his 90th year. Dad has gone into the loving arms of his wife and our mother, Jacqueline (2002). Bill is leaving behind 9 children, who will miss him dearly: Thom (Debbie), Gary (Rachel), Brenda (John Veltri), Larry, Dennis (Monica), Richard (late Susan), Terry (Sherri), Billy (Mary) and Robbie (Natalie). He was “pops” to his grandchildren: Tom Jr., Nicole, Jason, Renee, Trevor, Kelsey, Jordan, Jack, Joshua, Tyler, Tyson, Justin, Courtney, Robert, and Ryan Atkinson; Johnny Veltri (Daniela), Kelly Veltri (Andrew Marson), Shannon Holtom (Steve), Karley Parsons (Tyler), Amanda Quintinho (Dan) and great grandfather of 17. Survived by his sister June Peat (late Murray), Philip Atkinson (late Willa) and predeceased by sister Mildred Krompotich (Paul), Douglas, Francis, Albert and Robert Atkinson (Bobby). At Bill’s request, no services will be held. Memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated. A special thank you from the family to our sister Brenda and brother-in-law John for the excellent care they provided our father in their family home for the past 5 and half years.
