Vivian Frances Newton (Malloy)
NEWTON, Vivian Frances (Malloy) – Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 11, 2019 in her 97th year. Vivian was born and raised in Pembroke where she later met and married her husband Bill who was stationed in Petawawa during the war. They moved to Niagara Falls, his home, raised their family and spent 50 years together until Bill passed in 1995. Here she met life-long friends, worked as a secretary for Bedford Park school and was defined by her generosity of spirit and tremendous faith. Vivian will be forever in the hearts of her children Pamela (Stan), Donna (Dave), David (Kathy); her grandchildren Bill (Lisa), Andrea (Drew), Jon (Julie), Matt(Linda), Kyle(Lyndsay), Jake Mike (Katie), Kirk Molly (Richie); her great-grandchildren Ella, Jaiden, Ireland, Violet, Lucas, Charlotte, Xander, Lincoln; her brother and sister in laws Richard, Ruth and Marg; many nieces nephews cousins amazing friends and our family pets.
Family will welcome friends at MORSE&SON FUNERAL HOME 5917 Main St on Thursday February 21st from 5-8pm.A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church on Fri 22nd at 11 am. Rite of committal will follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to Pets Alive Niagara, Ontario SPCA – Community Cats or a charity of your choice.
