Vincent Patrick Cave
1958 -2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Vincent Patrick Cave announce his passing on February 7, 2019 at the age of 60 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn with precious memories his wife of 37 years, Marilyn (nee: Bailey), two beautiful daughters Andrea (Terry) and Cassandra (Justin); brothers & sisters Robert (Shirley), Kevin (Donna), Lawrence (Judy), Christine Moore (Pat), Patricia (Lana), Gregory (Linda), Desmond (Tina), Richard (Denise), sister-in-law Geri, brother-in-law Brian (Jamie) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his father Bernard, mother Stella, sister Madonna, nephew Jason, mother & father -in-law Bessie and William Bailey. The family would like to say a sincere thank you to all the Doctors, Nurses and members of his care team at the Cancer Clinic, as well the staff of Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be Saturday, February 9th, 2019 at 1:30 pm at All Hallows Church, Humber Road with Father Andrew White officiating. In keeping with his wish’s cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or Knights of Columbus.
