Obituary of Ron Green
Ronald “Ron” Green passed away, with family by his side, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Tuesday, February 5th, 2019 at the age of 63. Dear son of the late Elmer and Helen Green (nee Loxton). Beloved husband of 30 years to Amy Green (nee Apfeld). Loving father of Jim Green (Deanna Bak), and Ron Green (Katy). Ron is survived by his sisters Shirley Gordon (the late Bob) of Chatham, Diane McLean (the late Ron) of Ridgetown,;and his brother Brad Green (partner Cheryl) of Comber. Predeceased by his siblings Jim Green, Jerry Green, and Marlene Gobert (Bob). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Ron retired from Navistar, was a life-long fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and had a special affection for his dog Rielly. The family is so proud of Ron’s generous and loving soul which compelled him to become a Trillium Gift Life donor, and thereby continue to help other families. Cremation has taken place. The family looks forward to sharing in a Celebration of Life with family & friends at a later date. Donations in Ron’s memory may be made to the Lung Association, or a charity of your choice.
