Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center surrounded by his loving family. Leaving to celebrate his life and shared memories are his wife Joyce (Roberts), children Rhonda (Dave) and Craig (Tracey), grandchildren Erika, Elizabeth, Ethan and Eva, brothers Fred (Madge), Gerry (Wendy) and Doug (Linda), along with many nieces and nephews, and a large circle of extended family and friends. Ron is predeceased by parents Isaac and Florabelle (Mercer) of Bay Roberts.
Ron’s humour and his fun loving, good nature will always be remembered, along with his words of encouragement, help and support to so many. Ron had fond memories of his long career as a teacher, especially his time at Bishop’s College where he taught for many years.
Many thanks to his compassionate caregivers, our family and friends, and those who provided so much support along the way.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 8th from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM at Carnell’s Funeral Home located on Freshwater Road.
