Passed away peacefully just 5 days shy of his 78th birthday on Wednesday, February 5th, 2019 at Health Sciences North.
Beloved husband of 28 years to Carolyn Lalonde (nee Gibson) and predeceased by wife Jeanette Lalonde (nee Campbell) in 1982. Loving father of Donald (Rose) and Gerald (Lisa) & step father of Joseph Iorfida and Sam Iorfida (Helene). Cherished grandfather of Susie (Andy), Karen, Jenna (Eric), Josh (Kayla), Brandon (Melissa, Nathan, Amanda (Matt) and Christine (Jon) & great grandfather to many great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents John and Annette Lalonde (nee Guy) and siblings Severe, Rudy, Cleo, Berta and Bert. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Ron was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friends and just all around a good man that will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
At Ronald’s request there will be no visitation to service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial at a later date in Burpee, Ontario. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
