Margaret Louise Lloyd (Hale) nee Ledrew December 4, 1931-February 13, 2019, From Lewisporte, NL (Born Change Islands), following a brief illness passed peacefully away surrounded by her children and grandchildren at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, NL.
Margaret is predeceased by her parents, Elijah Thomas Ledrew of Change Islands, NL and Mary Louise Gillingham of Gander Bay,NL, Clarence Hale (father of her children); late husband, William John Lloyd of Ontario; sons, David Harvey Hale, & Tommy Roy Hale; siblings, Dorcus (William) Moyles, Emma (Albert) Moyles, Hayward (Elsie) LeDrew, & Simeon (Mary) LeDrew; great-granddaughter, Maeva Monroe Hojsan.
Left to mourn daughter, Florence (Patrick) Robin, Ian, Phallan White; daughter, Glennis (Gonzo) Chasity, Roger Gillingham; son, Gary(Pamela) BJ, Matthew Hale; daughter, Sherry (Dave) Michael, Krista Lloyd; son, Ricky (Kathleen) Richard, Samantha Hale; son Melvin (Adriana) Devyn, Ashley, Dylan Hale; Crystal Hynes (daughter of the late Tommy Roy Hale); son, Wade(Michelle) Joshua, Chelsea, Cameron Hale; daughter, Lorna(Eric) Jessica, Erica Ellsworth; son, Rodney(Roxanne) Kyle, Kailey, MiKayla Hale; step-children, John, Kathy, David, Tammy; 28 great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The public visitation will take place Friday, February 15, 2019 at 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, NL.
The funeral service will take place Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 2 pm from St. Matthew’s United Church, Lewisporte, NL.
As expressions of gratitude for help received while raising her large family in Lewisporte, NL, donations to the Lewisporte Food Bank will be respectfully received and flowers are welcomed.
