It is with tremendous sadness that the family announces the passing of John at the age of 82. He left this world peacefully surrounded by family at the University of Alberta hospital.
John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marlene, his sons Dean and Dave (Nicola), his sister Carol (Cliff) and his granddaughter Jessica.
John was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Doris Moore, and his brother, Richard “Bud” Moore.
John will be sorely missed by his many other relatives and friends, all of whom have had many laughs over the years at John’s dry sense of humor, and have been blessed by his kindness and gentleness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Sherwood Park Alliance Church on Feb 28th at 11:00 a.m. An internment will be held immediately afterwards at Glenwood Memorial, followed by a luncheon back at the church.
