Obituary of Jay Chalkley
CHALKLEY, Jay at Grey Bruce Health Services, Lion’s Head Friday morning February 8, 2019. Jay Chalkley of Barrow Bay in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Tackaberry). Dear brother of Jeff and his wife Kim of North Bay, Cindy Craag of Freelton, Sandra Leslie and her husband Bill of Puslinch, Jim Chalkley and his wife Michelle of Waterdown and Ray Chalkley of Calgary and brother-in-law of Milton (Anne Marie) Tackaberry, Doug (Debbie) Tackaberry, Lynn Tackaberry, Dale (Jackie Schultz) Tackaberry, Molly (Danny) Bridge, and Nancy (Chet) Ashcroft. Much loved uncle of Travis, Dustin, Chantel, Colton, Brett, Adam, Alison, Andy, Brian, Shawn, Aaron, Corby, Broderick and Brezshia and great uncle of Zoey and Bowen. He will be missed by his best furry friends Samantha and Ozzie (Osborne). Predeceased by parents Zelda (Greene) and Frederick Chalkley and parents-in-law Eileen (Caudle) and Frank Tackaberry. The funeral service will be conducted from the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION’S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion’s Head on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Spring interment Eastnor Cemetery, Lion’s Head. Expressions of remembrance to the Lion’s Head Hospital or Becker Animal Hospital would be appreciated.
