At his residence, Jack Cresswell Case, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at the age of 87. All who knew Jack will remember his 45 years of sailing the Great Lakes. He enjoyed the company of family and friends. He liked to talk about days gone by while enjoying a Players cigarette, ole time country music put a spring in his step, and puttering around his Egmondville home was always an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.
Jack will be lovingly remembered by his spouse, Jeannine Jefferson of Egmondville, his son Jim Case and his wife Andrea of Bowden, Alberta, Jeannine’s children Cathy McCue of Strathroy, Janice McCue (Lloyd) of Curve Lake and Steve Jefferson and his wife Michelle of Egmondville. Remembering their grandpa are grandchildren Brendon, Chelsey, Kirstin, Eric, Craig, Casey, Danielle, Alexandra, Jessica and Greg, along with 5 great grandchildren. Fond memories of Jack remain with siblings-in- law Ross Smale, Ken (Marise) Bedard, Rosemary (Wilf) Riecker and Lynda Kramp.Jack is predeceased by his first wife Maddie (née Fortune) and his 8 siblings and their spouses.
Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home (519-527-1390), 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth. Honouring Jack’s wishes, cremation will take place. A time to remember Jack and honour his life will take place at Seaforth Legion, Branch 156 on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 1-3 p.m.
