Elizabeth Bilyea
1918-2019
With happiness for her
and sadness for those of us left behind, the family of Elizabeth
Bilyea widow of Kenneth Bilyea (1996) wish to announce her passing at
Chelsey Park Nursing Home on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 in her 101st
year.
She leaves behind to
mourn, her son Fred (Kathleen), daughter Ann Roussell (Ralph), special
son Brian Green (Jean) and special daughters Jenny Slingerland
(Pieter) and Donna Sanders, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and
also many nieces and nephews who will miss her smile and laughter.
Elizabeth was the last remaining member of her family having been
predeceased by her parents Annie & John Inson and her brothers
David and John.
The family
would like to take the opportunity to thank Dr. Crabbe and the staff
of Chelsey Park Nursing Home for their care and concern for our
mothers comfort and safety. Thank you to all her friends who took the
time to visit and brighten her days.
In keeping with
Elizabeth’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private
family graveside service will take place at a later date when her
ashes will be interred next to her husband Kenneth at St. James
Anglican Cemetery, Clandeboye, Ontario.
For those who wish,
remembrances may be made to St. Alban the Martyr Anglican Church, 1350
Huron Street, London, Ontario N5V 2E2 or to a charity of
choice.
