Obituary of Elena Fox
Peacefully with family by her side on February 12, 2019 Elena Fox (nee Vojin) passed at the John Noble House, Brantford at the age of 81. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 30 years James Fox (2011) and the father of her children, James Douglas Wright (2016). Loving Mom to Brad (Kath), Kevin, Susan, Pennee (Ron), Sherry (Joseph) and Deed (Calvin). A proud Grandma, she will be missed by Leslie (George), Corry (Craig), Jordan (Stephanie), Wes (Jenn), Bill (Cheryl), Stephanie, Derek (Sean), Matthew, Christopher, Taunya (Nolan), Amy, Nicole (Donny), Miranda (Chris), Josif, Jacob and Tarrin. Elena was Great-Grandma “Gigi” to Chloe, Ryan, Hannah, Lincoln, Sydney, Ethan, Dylan, Liam, Zachary, Isabelle, Emily, Noah, Leo, Poet, Mia and Ivey. Survived by her sisters Lucretia Bury and Frances Szabo and brother Josif Vojin Jr.. She was pre-deceased by her parents Josif Sr. & Katalina Vojin, sister Ana, brothers Michael and Alexandru and grandchildren Mia Christina and Fraser Douglas. Elena will be lovingly remembered as “Aunt Tootsie” by many nieces, nephews and friends. An expert gardener, Elena’s love of growing vegetables and flowers will always be a treasured memory for her family. Relatives and friends will be received at DENNING’S OF WEST LORNE, 202 Main Street, West Lorne on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 1:30pm where the Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at Gillies Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Ladybird Animal Sanctuary in Brantford or St. George Garden Club. The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the love and care that Elena received by the staff at John Noble Home, Brantford.
