Gary James Hewey
1956-2019
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Gary James Hewey,
loving husband of Debbie Hewey, announce his passing on Sunday,
February 24, 2019 at Bobby’s Hospice with his family by his
side. Born on May 3, 1956 in Saint John, NB, he was a son of the late
Charles and Alice (Cameron) Hewey.
Gary loved his job as a labourer with Taylor’s
Landscaping. He enjoyed fishing and taking long walks. His family and
friends were so important to him. He will be missed by all who knew
him.
Gary is survived by his wife, Debbie; son, James (Shelley);
siblings, Bob (Joan), Ronnie, Wayne (Mary), Karen and Darren (Janet);
as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of both
Bobby’s Hospice and the Palliative Care Unit for all the
care given to Gary during his illness. Your kindness will not be
forgotten.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Honouring Gary’s
wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who
wish, donations in Gary’s memory can be made to
Bobby’s Hospice, Saint John Regional Hospital –
Palliative Care Unit.
