Obituary of Jeanette Millier
MILLIER- (Jeanette Yealande Millier). Jeanette sadly passed away peacefully at the Welland County General Hospital on Friday, February 8, 2019 at the age of 88 with her family at her side. Beloved wife of Arlen Millier for over 67 beautiful years they shared. Devoted mother to her three daughters, the late Lynn Millier, Karen Millier and Leslie Benner (Joel). Loving grandmother to Emily-Skye Benner. Mother-in-law to Bruce Pine. Aunt to Nathan Lambert, Jennifer Olm (deceased) and sister-in-law to Debra Lambert (the late Gary). She was predeceased by her parents, William and Lorette Charette, her sisters, Lucille Begin (Alsid) and her brothers, Sid Charette and Ronny Charette. She is survived by her sisters, Lorraine Simpson, Conny Feckit and Linda Ramunno of Welland. In her younger years, she worked for the Community Living of Port Colborne. She was an active member of the Port Colborne Conservation Club and attended St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Port Colborne. Her love for cooking and baking showed as well, as it kept her busy in her spare time, especially throughout the holidays. Jeanette was an amazing woman, talented, strong willed and a soft-hearted caring person, always thinking of others before herself. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at the Port Colborne and District Conservation Club, 3757 Second Concession Road, Port Colborne, (for directions google PCDCC) on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
