Vaughn « Doogie »‘s Obituary
GAMESTER, Vaughn Dugald “Doogie” ~ 63, of Wilmot, passed away peacefully January 29, 2019 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Charlottetown, PEI, he was a son of the late Lem and Janie (McKinnon) Gamester. Doogie was a retired Avionics Technician after 24 years with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was currently employed IMP working on the Cormorant helicopters. He was an avid wine maker and enjoyed watching TV and surfing the internet. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Kingston Branch No.98. Doogie is survived by his common law spouse, Wanda Moyer; brothers, Randy (Mercedes), St. Albert, AB; Neil, Toronto, ON; Ronnie (Bev), Charlottetown, PEI. Cremation has taken place. A Legion Tribute will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2019 at Royal Canadian Legion No. 98, 1472 Veterans Lane, Kingston followed by a reception. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Middleton Funeral Home 398 Main St. (902) 825-3448.
