BUCKRELL, Philip « LeRoy »- Philip Buckrell, known to all as « LeRoy » was called to his Lord and Saviour on January 27th, 2019, in his 77th year. Beloved husband (for over 56 years) and best friend of Ruth Ann (nee Making). Son of the late Philip William and the Late Gwendolyn June (nee Hill) Buckrell. Cherished father of Janice (Tony) Graham, Geoff (Lisa) and Scott (Elizabeth) Buckrell. Loving grandfather of John (Ellicia), Jason (Julie) Topham, Jessica (Jamie) Elliott, Tyler Graham, Leanne (Trevor) Stephenson, Kirk Graham, Jared, Alison and Taylor Buckrell, Matthew (Johanna), Adam (Abbey Reeves), Jacob, Noah, and Hannah Buckrell. Proud great grandfather of Evelyn, Thomas, Erik, Mark, Troy, Ophelia, Ava, Philip, Mayson, and Layla Topham, Lauren and Alyssa Elliott, Aster Stephenson, Oliver and Hudson Buckrell. Brother of Ron (Linda) and brother-in-law to Shirley Innes and Donna Making. Also survived by an uncle, one nephew, two nieces and numerous cousins. A long-time member of Oxford Baptist Church, LeRoy was blessed with the privilege of doing what he loved most: dairy farming, collecting and restoring Cockshutt tractors, hunting, and creating many invaluable experiences with his family. LeRoy touched many lives with his warm and genuine smile and understanding nature, making everyone he met feel welcome and loved. LeRoy will be fondly remembered for the countless experiences and memories he created for his family and friends on the family farm, at the cottage in South River and while hunting. Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Friday, February 1st, 2019 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm and again from 7 to 9 pm. Cremation to follow. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Oxford Baptist Church, 278 Hunter St., Woodstock, on Saturday, February 16th, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Robin Pifer officiating.
