Obituary for
Nancy Myron (Wolf)
Nancy Myron, age 71, of Ottawa, Canada, passed away on January 29, 2019, peacefully in her home with her beloved children and caregivers at her side. Nancy was born in Virginia, but has called Ottawa home for more than 35 years. Nancy was an accomplished watercolour painter and art teacher, as well as an avid collector of antiques. Nancy is survived by her children Todd Myron and Hilary Myron (Rob Billingsley), her grandchildren Evan and Rory Billingsley, her brother Mark Wolf (Patti), her stepmother Roslyn Wolf, her step sisters Rabbi Jill Hausman (Harold Hawkins), Jane Troy (Geoffrey) and her nephew Greg Wolf (Lydia). Nancy was predeceased by her mother Hannah Biscow Wolf, her father Seymour Wolf and her brother Stephen Wolf. A service will be held at the Jewish Community Chapel at 1771 Cuba Avenue, Ottawa, on Thursday January 31 at 10:30 AM. Shiva will be held at Nancy’s home following the service. Interment will be at the King David Memorial Gardens in Falls Church, Virginia. Further dates for shiva in Ottawa to follow. Thanks to her wonderful caregivers and friends, especially Judy, who could always make her smile. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre at the Ottawa Hospital, whom the family would like to thank for their excellent care.
