Obituary for Marion Leona Snair
It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Marion Leona Snair. A resident of Shoreham Village, Chester, who passed away on Sunday, December 16th, 2018, at the age of 87. Born in Boutiliers’s Point, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Nellie (Boutilier) Whiting. Marion was a very active and life-long member of St.James Anglican Church (ACW), Boutilier’s Point. She is survived by her children, Christine (Michael) Seaboyer, Sims Settlement; Darren (Vance Simpson) Snair, Smith’s Cove, Digby; Lisa (Joseph) Cummings , Chestermere, Alberta and her grandchildren Corbin and Josie Cummings of whom she was very proud. Also, mom’s special niece, Nancy, who was always there for her. Marion was the youngest and last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald, sister Margaret and brothers, Kenneth, Rupert, Vincent, Winfield, Gerald and Jack. Funeral service for Marion will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggys Cove Road, Upper Tantallon. .
