LANDRY, Leon Joseph (1936-2018) Leon Landry died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Jean with whom he shared 50 years. Beloved father of his children, Diane and (Roland), Denise and (Rémi), Guy and (Wanda) and Dennis, grandfather of his adored grandchildren Gabriel and (Amély), Roxanne and Noémie and friend of the many pets who were part of his life over the years. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family and his Jean, who loved to laugh, dedicated to sports and politics in equal measure and rose above the many challenges placed in his way. He was resilient and always dreamed big. The Funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 3 at 1 p.m. with visitation prior from 11:00 – 12:30, and will be held at St Dominique Church, 1241 Diane Street, Sudbury, ON P3A 4H4. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a local hospice in your city
