Henderson, June Murial – It is with deep sadness we announce June’s passing on Monday, January 14, 2019. June entered into rest peacefully at Pinecrest Nursing Home in her 82nd year, with family by her side. Loving Mother of Kim Morrow (Sandy) – predeceased by her children Jackie Smith, Darlene Waddell, Shelly Henderson and John Henderson. Cherished Grandmother of Greg Irvine (Nicole), Kyle Smith (Erin), Scott Morrow, T.J. Smith (Guyliene), Amy Waddell and Katelyn Morrow (Jake). Great-Grandmother of Michaela Kivell, Carter Fairfield, Finley and Wesley Smith. Dear sister of Beverly Cook (Myrl – predeceased), Grenville Raby (Lenora), and Michael Raby (Debby). Predeceased by sister Jerilene Brown (Terry), brother Gerald Raby (Faye) and sister Marliene Simkins (Brent – predeceased). Beloved daughter of the late Mitchell and Charlotte Raby. June will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and especially missed by her furry companion of 9 years “Chico”. The family would like to express special THANKS to all the staff at Pinecrest Nursing Home for their care and compassion which carried us through this most difficult of times. Also the many PSW’s who cared for mom during the last few years of her life, enabling her to maintain her independence. A Celebration of June’s Life will take place on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Celebrations (35 Lindsay Street North, Lindsay) from 2:00 – 4:00p.m. If desired, a memorial donation to the Alzheimer Society of Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family.
